Karachi commutes are long, and work weeks are often six days. A RideMate monthly plan gives you a regular rider for your exact schedule, with door-to-door pickup and a discounted amount fixed upfront.
Your building, your entrance
Give your home block and address (in Gulshan-e-Iqbal, for example) and your exact office building and entrance, whether that’s on Shahrah-e-Faisal, in Clifton or in Qayyumabad. Each destination is planned on its own, so precise details get you the right rider.
Five days or six
List the days you actually work, including Saturdays if you need them, and the time you’ll be ready to leave, not just when your shift ends. Tell us whether you need one-way or return travel.
What your plan covers
Your plan reserves a regular rider for your schedule, so your leave and chargeable holidays within it are still payable. If your rider can’t make a trip and we can’t arrange another, that trip isn’t charged. Your rider waits up to 3 minutes at your door.
Changes and ending your plan
Shift pattern changed? Contact RideMate, and once your new timing and any price change are confirmed, you can switch. To end your plan, give 7 days’ notice. Any unused advance is refunded within 5 working days. See fares and payment details.
Attendance changes week to week?
If you don’t go in every day, carpooling in Karachi charges per ride, so you only pay for the days you travel.
Common questions
Does my plan include Saturdays?
If you need them, yes. Add Saturdays when you post your schedule and they’re included in your plan.
Is the amount the same for Shahrah-e-Faisal and Clifton?
Not necessarily. Each destination has its own distance, so it gets its own amount.
How is my monthly amount calculated?
It’s based on your route’s distance and your schedule, with a discount for committing to regular travel. See how fares work.
Is pickup door to door?
Yes. Share your exact addresses and any building access details when you set up your plan.
My shift pattern changes. Can a monthly plan still work?
Share your full pattern when you set it up. If it changes later, you can update your plan during the month once the new timing is confirmed.
